Meie Geerlings

Pluis op Pad is founded by Meie Geerlings. Mother of 2 teenagers and foster parent for children in need for more than 10 years. In December 2019 the whole family moved to Curaçao for one year. 

With over 15 years of experience in both formal and informal professional settings, Meie brings a proven track record as a Program Manager, Project Manager and Department Manager. Her work has spanned national and international contexts, where she has successfully managed and coordinated complex projects, from conception to execution, across sectors including Science & Technology, Education, and Public Engagement. 

One of her key areas of expertise lies in the development, management, and successful acquisition of international projects. She has extensive experience in writing competitive proposals, securing international funding, and leading multi-stakeholder initiatives with diverse partners and goals.

In addition, she has built deep knowledge and practical experience in the field of Diversity & Inclusion. For over a decade, she has designed and implemented D&I-focused projects, and delivered impactful trainings and workshops that foster more equitable and inclusive work and learning environments. This work has not only been central to her professional mission but has also informed her approach to leadership and team development.
